Yes from all of our experiences it seems like something is wrong with the T-mo version of TouchFLO 3D that we have. I'd like a newer TouchFLO, but haven't seen any cooked ROMs that look appetizing enough for me to go through the trouble of loading a cooked ROM. I'd like t-mobile to release an updated ROM, but that's a topic for another thread...

I'm about this (...) far from switching to Verizon. Anyone know how much more Verizon is- data plan to data plan? The Droid and Eris did it for me, what would be perfect is if Droid was running hero..... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr - But, I am sure that that can be solved easily over at XDA forums. I will be asking for a Droid for xmas unless T-Mobile can come out with an 'grown-up' Android device. My trusty G1 has about another month left in her........ It's actually kinda sad, Tmobile pioneered the Android and is letting the competition run away with it.

Hi, I have a friend who is, I believe, using the Samsung T239 phone and on the TMobile network who is not receiving text messages or calls from me. I am unaware as to whether or not they receive them from other users, but I am texting them using AOL Instant Messenger to their AIM screenname as well as to their phone. They appear to not receive my messages from either, and if they do it is generally very brief (for about ten minutes, if that) but then it goes days before I am able to contact them. When I call, it rings then goes to voicemail. My friend, when I can text them, tells me they receive neither the call, voicemail I leave, or many (if any) text messages from me. The other day, Sunday Novemeber 15 2009, I was able to call them and we were able to converse for approximately twenty to thirty minutes, but then the call dropped and I was unable to contact them again. When they were able to text me afterwards, they (my friend) told me they tried to call, but I received no calls, and when I called, if it went through, it would hang up on the both of us. Another instance of texts not being received occured to the both of us (with one another) earlier in the year, but it was not to the extent of recent days. I apologize if I shouldn't be on the forums posting for them, however I have no easy way to contact them and have them post the problem themself. I was hoping that I could receive help on this on my side. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. P.S. - I also apologize for the lengthy read.

As i was talking o my friend, the system was giving me voice directions at the same time.

no the ONLY thing you lose are ALL of your apps. so its HIGHLY RECCOMMENDED that you use an app to back them all up, as in "AppManager" before you wipe your ext partition, it says your apss to your sd card, so they cannot be deleted unless you physically delete them of your sd card yourself. or you accidentally format your card :)

well being a teir 3 tech myself(for verizon) it was fairly easy to tell if he was b.s.ing me or not and he seemed to be just about as knowledgeable as i would expect from a teir 3 tech. he explained exactly what he was doing and why. I also had him check the switch to see if my phone was contacting hers before the call ended or if it wasnt even getting to her. Turns out they arent even showing up in the switch at all. not even as a dropped call. Wich makes me think that my phone must be blocking itself from sending the call out. On the other hand, if i *67 before the call it gets my call through. *67 is a command to the switch to not transmit caller id. The fact that *67 works means this must be a network problem but at the same time the fact that the switch doesnt show the calls as even being sent says the phone isnt sending. The only resolution/symptom relief so far is to dial *67 each time i call her. This being the case, i've added *67 to her contact. lol. Im tellin ya, this ones a weird one. my guess is that its the switch. short of being cause by some hacked version some rom or app there isnt too much possibility that its an actual device issue. So at this point my fingers pointed at the network.

Hiya my blackberry hotmail is now up and running, I had to choose The Orange mobile network because T mobile does not offer a Blackberry data plan on the 8520. First I obtained a orange pay as you Go sim card, then I called customer services on 450 and selected options 2,2,4. I requested for a monthly blackberry data plan and almost Immediately it was activated, from there everything practically set itself up Using the setup wizard. To connect your hotmail, add your usual email address and password into the first add Email section/option in the set up wizard, and you should receive a confirmation that it has been linked. Hopefully this This is some help to you :-)

Does anyone know where I can get the BB Today theme? Thanks.
