I vote for a 1 month credit....   Anyone else agree?

Can't say I agree with deserving a free month of service for an hour of outage. Sorry, that seems like a ridiculous request.

Re: Service disruption

***Please Ensure Your Successfully Able to Send/Receive Text Messages Before You Report Your Service Back Up***

I'm sure everything will be restored soon, this is my second outage here in KY this year.

T-Mobile shares towers with Bluegrass Cellular around here and we had an ice storm earlier this year, the store manager at my local Bluegrass store told me a story about what went on and why I didn't have service when their customers had service the whole time.

She told me the T-Mobile guys pulled up to the tower while the Bluegrass guys were there keeping their generator full of fuel and the T-Mobile guys discovered their generator was out of fuel and never came back to fill it up, I was out of service for 3 days.

Re: Service disruption

My view on service outages is as follows.  Tmobile has no qualms charging when you can use your service, but don't.  So I don't see the problem with expecting recompense when you want to use the service but can't.

A prorated credit to the bill is, I believe, reasonable.

Re: Service disruption

We would believe you guys but, you guys said this about the sidekick data services.

Sidekick services are still not fully up after over a month of your "technicians" working nonstop.

T-Mobile i'm sorry but, you are probably going to lose a lot of business.

Re: lost customer

The Sidekick issue was not a T-mobile issue, and therefore not there's to respond to. When you have to wait on someone like Microsoft to get their crap together, you can expect to wait a while. As far as this is concerned, I've only been with T-Mobile for a year now, and so far, I've had no issues with them. The same can't be said for AT&T or Verizon...Their customer service is mediocre at best in comparison.

I am not saying no compensation should be the option, but for those asking for a free month of service...

Lets say your bill is $100 (just for a nice round number) divide that by 30 days in a month, which means service per day costs about 3.33.Most of us are already getting service back, and 3.33 would be the cost of a full day of service.

And I am sure everyone is going to say their phone is for business, and they have lost hundreds, thousands, if not millions worth of business during the few hours of outage, or that their bill isn't $100 a month, instead it is $600.

Technology isn't perfect, don't count on it to be.

But I will say for SK users, my heart goes out to you. It has been a rough month, just try to remember is wasn't T-Mobile that went out last time, even though I know that doesn't soften the blow.

I agree with it... it's been over an hour... we're paying for a service that we're not getting. I've held up my end by paying my bill. I've never heard of an entire network going down before... did satellites burn up? Combine this with the loss of data connectivity sidekick's experienced just last month.... this is getting ridiculous.

Re: Service disruption

I completely agree!  Those people that are saying this is the first time must not live in the Chicago area, cause we have had T-Mobile issues for the last few weeks!  My husband has a myTouch, I have a G1, and our house line if the T-Mobile landline and none of them are functional right now.  As you aid, I'm paying for a service, and I would like to be able to use that service.  I don't have money to waste if I'm not getting what I'm paying for.
