Hey There Fellow Androidians..

Jus Received my first Cupcake Over-The-Air Update!!

This update consists of Bug Fixes and Permissions allowed to you as a G1 Handler

So far i've noticed that the freeze bug on my G1 has been fixed ..it was kinda ironic to me that i'd update my phone to Cupcake and it started freezing, but now like i first stated thats gone. Happy about that one :smileywink:

i got mines last night around 1130 im in baltimore and i didnt know what was going becuz i manually updated my G1 to cupcake like you,it did freeze alot but chalked it up to how many apps and stuff i had...so i seen it said system update ready i hit install it did its thing,but when it came back on it was stuck on the blue android logo(freaked me out)had to call tmo and do a factory reset(kinda mad)but happy i didnt have to get a replacment phone YAAY!!lol now that i know what bug fixes where for im even more happy with my cuppity cake(lol as i like to call it)!!!

will people who downloaded the cupcake update from these forums be able to get the update? or will the update be useful for those who used the hacked 1.5 cupcake?

either way it's done whether thru over-the-air or manually you should be able to get the update ...and it should be useful to ur G1

Well, I'm glad this thread was here.  I just got mine like, 10 minutes ago and it was very unexpected and a little worrisome.  I guess that would make it around 8am in boston for me.

 too bad there aren't any new features, but fewer bugs is also good.

i flashed the dreimg.nbh file to unroot my g1 and flashed official cupcake update

i hope i get this CRC1 update

Yeap, If you updated your phone manualy with the original Cupcake (the one that was posted here), you will get the new update. I just got it right now, 9:35 am Boston
