Morotola Cliq: Master Reset & Hard Button Reset
Complete the following to perform a master reset, which will erase all data stored on the phone memory.
Master Reset Through Menu:
- Back up all necessary data.
- From the Home screen, press the Menu key.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap SD card & storage.
- Tap Factory data reset.
- Tap Reset phone.
- Tap Erase everything.
Hard Button Reset:.
1. Power off the phone
2. Press and hold the Camera key, then press the Lock/Power key to turn the phone back on.
3. When prompted, release the Camera key
- You should be prompted after the boot screen with the Motorola batwing (M) logo
4. Press and hold the Volume down key until the "Triangle' screen appears
5. Open the keyboard and press Alt + L key, then press Alt + W key
6. All device data will be erased and the device will reboot.
- You may need to select "reboot system now" if it doesn't reboot on its own
