BB 8320, says "no data plan," no internet email icon

Bought this phone 3 days ago, so it should all be activated by now. I definitely have a BB data plan. Can't use the facebook or chat applications, and there is no way to access the "set up internet email" app (since its nowhere to be found. I've talked to tech support, if you could call them that, and they tell me everything looks good for my account. Any suggestions as to what I should do? I tried registering through the host routing table area, to no avail, and tried sending service books through the website (no result). Finally, i chose to "wipe handheld." After completing that process, I'm in the same situation, except the host routing table is empty, and im connected to edge rather than EDGE. Pretty frustrated.

It does souns like there is an issue with the provisioning on your account. You should call into technical support. They can take a look and get things fixed up for you.

If the RIM servers are indeed having issues then T-Mobile technical support should know about it.
But an outage like that generally results in a lot of news coverage. I've not heard anything yet about any RIM outages.
