hi folks. dropped my 5th BBerry in the ocean a couple days ago, replaced it with the T-Mo Bold 9700.
After using Blackberry Desktop Manager (for Macintosh) to sync my contact list, the craziest thing happens.
all 4000 contacts are transferred, but as soon as i start to type anything in the Contacts program or in the "to" field of an email or SMS message, none of the contacts appear. Once i've typed a single letter (even if the contact's name is clearly listed on the screen) then all the contacts disappear and the only option is to "add a new contact".
any advice?
