Re: Is there an app on android to stream tv shows?

JETFLICKS Is a superior application released about a month ago. Its the best thing to happen to Androids app store in a while but that's my opinion.I'm running it on my stock G1 and I've had virtually zero issues with it thus far.It set me back about $15 and this includes a subscription that lasts until Jan 1st I believe. After that date I've been informed from the developer( who is very responsive and generally friendly) that you can purchase monthly subscriptions that start as low as $5 monthly.I don't however know what a $5 subsription includes but at first I was told that it would cost $20 monthly ant would include unlimited use after Jan 1st so I believe it will not cost mare than $20 a month,I could be wrong. If the $5 a month subscription includes even 1 show a day than that's what I will purchase. That's all I will be watching cuz even though tmobile says I have unlimited "DATA" I've been told that If we go over 10 gig in a month that they shoot us down from our 3g speed to a lower (prob back to edge) data speed for the remainder of the bill cycle for that particular month that I go over and the JETFLICKS( It may actually be spelled Jetflix, try searching both) app happens to use "A TON" of data. About 100 + mb per show. 10 gig a month averages out to "about" 333 mb's a day. That is why I will settle on a subscription that includes 1 show a day. Anyway I've gotten off subject.I've been enjoying such shows as House season 1 through present, Heros, The Office,Simpsons,Seinfeld, and so many more, including many kids shows and "chick" shows(pardon the sexest description...I've been known to watch Lifetime t.v. with my girlfriend, lol)
So the last thing I will say is that this application is so worth the $15...I've enjoyed hours of fun and entertainment and plan on renewing when the time comes...next year that is! Also if your worried about streaming issues ect.I've had almost no problems streaming over 3g data speed.occasionally it will stop streaming but as long as your patient and don't touch anything(which I've learned to do lately) then you will have no worries...I think I can count on my hands the times its cut out while watching a show and it happens once during a show, and comes back on w/ in 30 seconds. Also never has it happened twice during one show.
By the way the answer is no...No I'm not the developer of Jetflicks. Just a very satisfied customer. If your still undecided on whether or not to purchase this app, simply read all the positive reviews in the app market. Hope I've been of some degree of help
G1 bronze love this phone! Can't wait...hungry for a donut!

yeah started watching green mile to check it out. ended up watching all of " In Laws". I live in a 3g area. The movie was good quality and I didn't have any buffer issues. Played straight thru

Hey....did anyone try downloading the lukluk app from the web page lukluk.org??...it said somewhere it has been updated...but when you install it ...it says that it isn't signed correctly or it doesn't have security permissions or something like that....anyone else have the newer version??...not from the market basically....thank you....:smileyhappy:

Love this app and wondered if anyone knows if it is possible to connect the MyTouch to a laptop through the USB and view video on the laptop from Jetflicks?

Check out vuivision.com. You can get ABC, NBC, CBS, & FOX streaming only seconds behind live TV on your phone.

I havent tried jetflicks at all. I've just tried tv.com. With tv.com the shows come in dark Idk if theres a way to get them so they show up better. Why I havent tried jetflicks is because i didnt want to pay. SO with what I said about tv.com not being very bright I cant really complain because its free!
