Cannot pair with Ford Microsoft Sync.  Updated Sync to 1.1 but that still didn't allow me to pair the G1.

Re: Bluetooth Compatibility Guide - What Works, What Doesn't Work

2008 Harley-Davidson Street Glide - doesn't pair or connect.  Have to use H500 inside my helmet.

2007 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic - pairs, connects, and works fine.

(I would LOVE to have a hack that will allow my phone to act as the Bluetooth key to all three of my Bluetooth-keyed bikes)

PowerMac G5 (OS 10.4.11) - pairs and connects, iSync recognizes it but "no services available"

iBook G3 - same as above

(supposedly 10.5 addresses this so that Address Book/iSync work with it - this would be the only reason for me to update the OS)

My Jawbone works and so does my Parrot v5.10c which is hooked up to an Eclipse GPS Nav Unit.

Re: Bluetooth Compatibility Guide - What Works, What Doesn't Work

I have the Motorola H710, it paired easily. answers and ends calls. If you hold the button for a moment it will dial the last call you were on. Everyone I call says it is nice and clear.

Motorola H350 mono earpiece

-works; on this device you need to put the device in discover mode before the G1 can find it (usually a quick double-press after turning the device on, not completely sure), and you will probably need to enter the device PIN into the G1 (try 0000 if you haven't changed it to something else)

Motorola H500 mono earpiece

-  works; discoverable by default, no PIN needed

Re: Bluetooth Compatibility Guide - What Works, What Doesn't Work

Works fine with 2008 Toyota Prius.

Two observations:

You should change the name in Settings -> Wireless controls -> Bluetooth settings -> Device name *before* you try to pair with the car - that way you only need to change the name in one place.

Once you've started a call, the phone doesn't seem to disconnect by itself when you turn off the car. You need to disconnect manually (which you can also do from Bluetooth settings).

Re: Bluetooth Compatibility Guide - What Works, What Doesn't Work

I have a Motorola HF850 car kit and it will pair and seems connected but it doesn't work.  It doesn't mute the radio when calls come through and you can't place calls.  I got it to work once calling my voicemail but aside from that, it doesn't work.

This is a follow up on the Chrysler / Jeep My-Gig system with U-Connect. I went to the Chrysler dealer ship and had them up grade my system and now it is working

No it wont :smileysad:

supposedly we have to wait  for the stereo bluetooth support for this allthough i dont believe it personaly, but it will at least take a software update to make it happen

currently the only way music  plays on a BT headset is if you play music  take a call, and when the person hangs up the music plays though the headset for  a few seconds lol!

musiccman,

Does your'e H680's main function button work? I have the 680 as well and it pairs great but the short press doesn't bring up voice dailing and the long press doen't redail.

Edit: Oh and the volume keys don't appear to work

Android Bluetooth Automatic Answer?

Does the Android Bluetooth have an automatic call answer option? My work frequently requires use of both hands, but I can answer incoming calls if the phone will automatically answer. (My Nokia 6300 does this, my iPhone does not.)

I have a 2008 Nissan Maxima SE with Bluetooth. It works fine, just as with any other phone I had before.

I have a bluetooth headset made by Nokia, model HDW-3 that synced up and worked flawlessly from day 1.

Re: Bluetooth Compatibility Guide - What Works, What Doesn't Work

I dont know if this was talked about because there are so many pages but it would be nice for the phone to auto sync with my pioneer d3 blutooth . Most phones do this but the g1 does not....
